Managing Performance at EOHHS
It's important to have data informing many of the big decisions we make in life. Here at EOHHS, we follow the same practice by making client outcome data a very real part of our day-to-day conversations and using it as a key input for policy and programmatic decisions. Through EHSResults, we are now providing senior staff with easy access to meaningful data, enabling more informed decision-making. -

Statewide Quality Advisory Committee
The Statewide Quality Advisory Committee (SQAC) members will make recommendations to the Department of Public Health (DPH) for promulgation of quality-related measures. This committee will examine and publicly report recommendations for a standard set of health care quality measures for each health care provider facility, medical group or provider group in the Commonwealth.
This uniform set of quality measures will also help health care providers monitor their progress toward achieving quality improvement goals and reducing unnecessary health costs. This overarching process of increased transparency and accountability will culminate in an environment that promotes low-cost, efficient, and high-quality management of patient health and encourages better integration of health care delivery in Massachusetts.

Virtual Gateway
Though we may be "virtual" in name, the services we support are very real. MassHealth, Food Stamps, and Child Care are just a few examples. The Virtual Gateway brings information and access together in a single location on the Internet for individuals, families, providers, and government.
