Recovery and Reinvestment - Clean Energy and Environment
As part of Governor Patrick's Massachusetts Recovery Plan to secure the Commonwealth's economic future, the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs is pleased to announce opportunities to create jobs and bolster the economy while meeting Governor Patrick's ambitious goals for a clean energy future. The information and guidance on these pages are designed to help Massachusetts companies, residents and municipalities make the most of the unique window of opportunity made possible by funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act signed by President Obama on February 17, 2009. These investments are a key component of Governor Patrick's Massachusetts Recovery Plan, which combines state, federal and, where possible, private efforts to provide immediate relief and position the Commonwealth for recovery. As the federal government continues to update its guidelines and programs, this site will be updated frequently. Please check back often.
